🌿 Park Highlight: Capra Park

Located onĀ Kenneth Avenue, Capra Park began as Mary and Claude Capra’s horse ranch in the 1940s and was laterĀ sold to the Carmichael Recreation and Park District with the vision that it would serve the community.

Today, the property remains leased and home to horses until funding is secured to install facilities that will make it useable as a public park.Ā Future plans include a small working farm, gardens, and educational programs—bringing the Capras’ dream of recreation and refreshment to life.
