We can’t wait to welcome you to this year's  Dinner in the Park, Carmichael’s premier community celebration! Here’s everything you’ll need to know for a seamless and memorable evening this Saturday, September 19th:

🌿 Attire

Suggested attire is Garden Party Casual. The garden has uneven terrain—please select footwear that’s comfortable for strolling outdoors.

🚗 Parking & Shuttle

  • There is no parking at Jensen Botanical Garden or the upper gardens off Sutter Ave.
  • Please park at Carmichael Elementary School (6141 Sutter Ave, Carmichael).
  • Complimentary shuttle buses run from 5:30 throughout the evening to and from the garden.
  • Please refrain from street parking as a courtesy to our neighboring residents and for safety.

Golf carts will be available for guests between the shuttle drop-off and dining area who need assistance.

📍 Location: Sutter Community Garden -Jensen Botanical Garden 

  • 5:00 PM Shuttle Service & Check-In Opens
  • Music and Wine Trail Reception – Music and Wine Trail Reception Reception at the trail leading down to the lower garden. Enjoy complimentary pours from Rombauer Vineyards and beer from River City Brewing. Thank you to our Experience Sponsor Carmichael Water District. New for 2026: Enjoy delicious appetizers along the trail!
  •  Evening in the Lower Garden– Gourmet Multi-course Dinner and Dessert, enjoyed at beautifully set tables in the Botanical Garden
  • New for 2026: Amazing Dinner Performance by Grammy Nominated Artist Andrey Chmut, followed by:
    •  Fund-A-Need hosted by Skip Wahl, benefitting Carmichael parks, children, events, and families of Carmichael.
    • Dancing Under the Stars with Wasted Space (Best Concert in the Park Band, 2025)
    • Evening Concludes; Shuttles Return Guests to Parking Lot
