Fun With Bocce? YES - it was!
Despite the inclement weather, our first ever Fun With Bocce event on April 25th and 26th was a huge success.
Both the Carmichael Parks Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael shared in the sponsorship of this enjoyable day. There was no fee to participate. The goal was to grow the Bocce Ball community by making the game accessible and enjoyable for all.
We look forward to making this an annual event!
Just A Reminder - Tomorrow, May 1st, is Big Day of Giving
Help us continnue to sponsor fun community events by donating to the Carmichael Parks Foundation and to the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael during Big Day of Giving. In addition to Fun With Bocce, both organizations sponsor other annual events put on by the Carmichael Recreation and Park District. These free events include:
- Breakfast with the Bunny
- Concerts in the Park
- Founders Day
- Holiday Tree Lighting
Ways to help us win BDOG incentive prizes:
- Make a donation to the Carmichael Parks Foundation during our Power Hour between 4:00 - 4:59 am. There's a $500 prize for the most donations made every hour and we've won in this time slot the past 4 years!
- Stay up just a little later and make a donation to the Kiwanis - their Power Hour is 5:00 - 5:59 am.
- Use your Golden1 Credit Union Visa or Debit Card to make your donation. They are providing $100,000 in matching funds!

- Add a new organization to your donation list this year.
