Dog Park Friends Carmichael is guided by a small group of community members who bring together experience in animal behavior, training, and care, local business, philanthropy, events, and community service. As a volunteer committee of the Carmichael Parks Foundation, the group helps identify opportunities, support improvements, strengthen community partnerships, and advocate for a safer, more welcoming Carmichael Dog Park.

Our committee is intentionally hands-on and community-focused, with members who care deeply about both animals and Carmichael.

Rosie serves as Chair of the Dog Park Friends Carmichael Committee and brings experience in community leadership, nonprofit work, local business, fundraising, events, and park advocacy. Through her work with the Carmichael Parks Foundation and the park district, she helps connect Dog Park Friends projects with broader community partnerships, fundraising opportunities, and long-term park improvements.

Miranda Viani

Miranda brings professional experience in canine behavior, training, and development to the committee. Her perspective helps support thoughtful conversations around dog behavior, park safety, responsible dog ownership, and creating a positive environment for dogs and their people.

Brad brings a longtime love of animals and a strong commitment to animal welfare. As a pet parent, foster dog parent, and supporter of local animal shelters, he offers a valuable community perspective and a deep understanding of the needs of dogs, pet families, and rescue organizations.

The Dog Park Friends Carmichael Committee meets on the first Friday of each month at 9:00 AM at Carmichael Park to discuss current projects, safety priorities, events, fundraising, and ways to support the future of the Carmichael Dog Park.

Together, the committee works to help make the Carmichael Dog Park safer, stronger, and better for every pup and every person who visits.
